As the slump point in the semester approached, our internal affairs committee put on a presentation to inspire and motivate UWEB members to look deeper into the motives behind our everyday actions, and encourage members to continue to work hard and find the passion to reignite our drive to continue to grind through the rest of the year.
Econ in Tech: Career Roundtable | Tuesday, March 5, 2019
Partnering with the Undergraduate Economics Association, UWEB members got the chance to network and mingle with recruiters from companies like Zynga, Oracle, AT&T, VSCO, and Tesla. Over a nice dinner, members rotated between representatives and got the chance to ask questions and connect with individuals in the workforce.
Mentorship Mixer with WEB | Tuesday, March 12, 2019
In a laid back environment over sushi, UWEB members mingled with grad students from the Women in Economics at Berkeley program to ask questions about grad school, careers, life, and everything in between.
Gap Inc. Resume Workshop | Tuesday, April 9, 2019
In partnership with the Berkeley Women in Business, two representatives from Gap Inc. came in to present a workshop about the company itself and how to format and what content to include on outstanding resumes. Both representatives were knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and network with attendees.
Personal Finance Workshop | Tuesday, April 16, 2019
Two wonderful analysts from Google presented an interactive and informative workshop about how to gain financial literacy and freedom.
Economic Research Showcase | Thursday, April 18, 2019
In collaboration with The Berkeley Economic Review and Students of Color in Economics, we presented economic research and learned more about other research that our colleagues have been working on! A panel of GSIs as well as our peers were in attendance for feedback.

We celebrated the end of a great semester with some great food and great conversations with other UWEB members!
San Francisco Federal Reserve Trip | Wednesday, May 1, 2019
In a partnership with the San Francisco Federal Reserve, we had the opportunity to tour the bank and its basement vaults. A panel of representatives presented on their experience within the Federal Reserve and the event concluded with the chance to network with a researchers, analysts, and more from a variety of different departments.
